Since this is a three-day week, I'm not going to put up an official newsletter. However, there are several important announcements.
~ I would like to spend a second day on math lesson 3.9 to make sure the students have a complete understanding of it. This means that the math test will not be until Monday. I will still be having a review tutorial tomorrow, Thursday.
~ Tomorrow is G day, so students need to wear their chapel uniform.
~ Friday is a NUD to celebrate WorldFest. Students should wear one of the colors of a ring on the olympic flag.
~ Last week, our class participate in a contest for Hispanic Heritage Month. We were assigned Mario Molina, a Mexican scientist, and completed a poster on his life. While we did not win the pizza party, I was incredibly proud of the work the class put in. The did an amazing job researching all the parts of his life and displaying them in an interesting and easy to read way. I've attached a picture of our poster for you all to see. Can you guess what our inspiration was?
