It's hard to believe it's almost Christmas break!! This is an abbreviated version of our normal newsletter. Please let me know if you have any questions.
~ We have several events this week...
- Wednesday morning we will be watching the dress rehearsal of the LS musical. The actual performance will take place Wednesday evening in the theater at 7:00.
- Thursday we will be having our LS Sing-A-Long and holiday party. We will also have a holiday NUD!
~ This week we are having very modified homework.
- For reading, students are required to read for at least an hour this week, either 2 nights for 30 minutes or 1 night for an hour.
- In writing, students should be working on their nonfiction books. They are due on Friday. We will be working to finish them up in class.
- Math will be assigned as needed.
~ I have several writing assignments graded, however I am going to wait to send them and the math test home until after the break. I am making this decision for several reasons; one, Thursday is a crazy afternoon and items tend to get lost in the shuffle, and two, if students did not preform well, I don't want them starting off the holiday disappointed. I will return everything our first week back, and I will send a reminder that it is all coming home.
