Problem solving is an area I feel can always use extra practice, so each week I will post a "Problem of the Week" on this blog. These problems are similar to the Open Responses on the unit assessments. Every problem will require multi-step work with the actual problem, as well as an explanation, in words, of how you figured out the problem. Please complete the problem on a sheet of lined paper. You may turn in your answer at anytime during the week. However, if it is not correct or the explanation does not make sense, I will give it back to you for additional work. I will post the answer on the following Monday.
*Remember, you may get help from a family member, but everything you turn in should be your own work. If another family member would like to try the problem on their own, give him or her a copy and compare your answers on Monday.
